As long as the left has dubbed someone “insane,” that removes all accountability, even if the crime is so severe you nearly kill a police officer.

At one point in human history, assaulting or hurting a police officer was considered a serious crime. However, once hating the cops became politically correct and supporting the cops became politically incorrect, that was no longer the status quo. Thus, we have this story for you.

A woman stole a cop car and ran over the officer. The victim suffered a concussion and received multiple stitches as a result of the crime.

Even though five-year-olds know this is a bad thing to do and it’s evil to try and run people over, the courts have dubbed the perp “insane” and thus will be allowed back into society.

According to The Daily Caller:

A woman was found not guilty by reason of insanity on Wednesday after allegedly running over a Chicago police officer with his own police cruiser, CWB Chicago reported.

Judge Tyria Walton ruled that 35-year-old Whitley Temple was not guilty of attempted murder, according to the outlet. Walton, who presided over the bench trial, also found Temple not guilty of the other four charges she was facing — including carjacking — by reason of insanity, the outlet reported, citing court records.

Is it possible that the judge is also insane?

Surveillance video obtained by CWB Chicago captured the event, showing Temple inside the vehicle while Poppish held onto the door. While Poppish attempts to coax her out, she appears to reverse the vehicle quickly, dragging the officer backward and slamming him into the vehicle behind them.

Poppish can then be seen doubled over on the ground as the woman drives away with the driver’s side door open.

The “insane” woman will also have to undergo some sort of mental therapy program that has probably resulted in a very high recidivism rate.

Even if this woman is more so “insane” then she is evil that still does not mean she is not a threat to the public. It does not matter that progressives feel “compassion” for the mentally unstable who run over police officers, this woman has still proven she is a threat to both her life and that of others. And because of that, the “compassionate” thing to do would be to keep her away from the public at all costs.

And what happens if she is to have another “insane” episode and someone actually dies this time? When and where will the line be drawn?

We now live in a time where both citizens and the justice system slap police officers in the face and it’s wrong. We should support our officers who uphold law and order and it’s reprehensible that the judge ruled in such a foolish way.
