Closing arguments have been happening all day long in Alvin Bragg’s phony Trump case in Manhattan and they finally ended at 8pm after the judge warned the prosecution they their marathon had to end.

Harris Faulkner revealed what the prosecution finally claimed was a crime:

According to Faulkner, the prosecution said that the crime “came from Cohen making an excessive campaign contribution” by paying Stormy Daniels and then getting reimbursed. They argue that the payment wouldn’t have happened but for the election.

But as Faulkner points out, the defense proved via multiple witnesses that Cohen’s motivation wasn’t a campaign contribution at all, but to protect Trump’s family.

So how does this lead to a crime for Trump? Faulker says the prosecution claims they don’t have to prove Trump committed a crime, only that he had the ‘intent’ to defraud or violate the law.

Wow. If the entire jury buys this I’ll be shocked because that’s a load of garbage. They have no idea what Trump was thinking about and haven’t proven anything.
