Closing arguments have begun today in the Donald Trump/Alvin Bragg “hush money for Stormy Daniels” case in New York. Some are speculating about a possible hung jury.

Some are reporting that the Secret Service is preparing for the possibility that Donald Trump could go to jail. Many feel this is all political persecution because Donald Trump is not only running for president again but is way ahead in the polls.

Country legend John Rich who once appeared on Donald Trump’s hit TV show “The Apprentice” minced no words on X (formerly Twitter) today:

“If they jail Trump, he will have the biggest win in the history of US elections.”

Popular X account that often engages with Elon Musk “Wall Street Silver” agreed with Rich:

“Yup! This Banana Republic needs to stop. It will be a red wave!”

Many feel that moderates like Elon Musk and Joe Rogan will vote for Trump this time around, even if they wanted Ron DeSantis instead. Joe Biden’s popularity is also poor among non-whites and young people, a very scary position for the Democrats to be in at this point in the race.

We will soon find out what happens with this case and it is sure to make waves, whichever direction it ends up going in.

Many Americans feel that the nation is losing legitimacy as political rivals try to use the law enforcement system against each other in their view. This is the sort of thing that would have the founding fathers rolling in their proverbial graves. Americans on both sides can only hope this polarization does not continue to escalate.
