Just like there’s a special place in Hell for those who harm children, there is also a place for those who hurt puppies.

A heroic NYPD officer rushed an injured puppy to the animal hospital after sustaining “horrific injuries at the hands of its owner.” Fortunately, because of the officer’s quick actions, the puppy is alive.

It’s incredibly hard to watch that and not shed a tear. And it’s even more infuriating that the identity of the psychopath is being hidden. The public deserves to shame that evil subhuman into oblivion. Dog lives matter and we deserve to know who did that to this defenseless animal.

According to PIX11:

On Thursday, May 16, officers from the 33 precinct responded to a woman abusing a tiny 1-year-old poodle. The puppy had signs of a traumatic brain injury, was in shock, and his heart and blood pressure were unstable when he was treated by vets, according to the ASPCA.

Police can be seen cuffing the woman while officers are asking for the dog’s name. ‘Rocket’ was grabbed by a female officer who immediately started to cry; blood can be seen on the dog’s fur, a video posted to Twitter shows.

The woman, Cleopatra Morgan, is obviously a psychopath. The whole ordeal is incredibly upsetting and evil. How can anyone do that to a defenseless animal?

“When Rocket arrived at our facility, he was also bleeding from his mouth and was found to have a fractured femur. Rocket was immediately treated with various types of intravenous fluids to address his traumatic brain injury and shock and was given pain medication,” a statement from an ASPCA spokesperson read. “AMC diagnosed Rocket with a hemoabdomen, meaning that he was bleeding into his belly, and he received an emergency blood transfusion. “

What a sick, deranged woman. The fact that a 25-year-old woman can cause a “traumatic brain injury” and a “fractured femur” to an innocent puppy is incomprehensible and she deserves to rot in prison. What an evil, evil thing she is.

Rocket survived his initial injuries but has a long recovery. The AMC and the ASPCA thanked the NYPD officers who swiftly saved Rocket’s life.

I hope the officer has a new puppy, as the poor pooch would probably not have made it without her heroic actions. Sadly, he has a long road ahead but thank God he pulled through.

There’s always light at the end of the tunnel, and I’m sure the powers that be will make sure he finds his way to a loving, furever home that no pooch could even dream of.
