  • Thomas Riggs, Senior Chief in U.S. NAVY, Equal Opportunity Advisor to Chief Naval Officer: “Diversity, equity, inclusion? Yeah, of course, they [military colleagues] think it’s a waste of time. Except my boss, I mean, Lisa, the admiral, she doesn’t think it is. She likes it. But secretly, everybody else is like eh.”
  • Riggs: “You know what’s going to happen when the first missile hits the first side of the first DEG [Guided Missile Escort Ship]? What’s it going to matter? It won’t. Diversity, equity, inclusion. It’ll just be out the window.”
  • Riggs: “Soon as China invades — when China invades Taiwan. None of this is going to matter. That’s what they’re saying to me about my program.”
  • Riggs: “I think he [Donald Trump] will win [the election]. I think he will. I think he’s going to win hands down.”
  • Riggs: “Unless something happened…Like he [Trump] goes to jail or something like that, or somebody kills him. I mean, I hate to say it, but, you know, that’s kind of the only way he’s — I mean, people don’t have a lot of faith in Biden.”
  • Riggs: My job will still exist [if Trump is elected]. It’s just like I was telling you — DEI wouldn’t, I wouldn’t be able to come out and say I’m a DEI practitioner. It’s like, now I can say — I would just say I’m an Equal Opportunity advisor. Big climate specialist. And I would.”
  • Riggs: “Like I told you, I’d skirt around DEI…would have to be a play on words, I would never be able to come out and say it. People would be like, ‘whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.’ There’s no such thing as DEI anymore.”

[WASHINGTON, D.C. – May 15, 2024] Louder with Crowder’s Mug Club Undercover team released a new video today exposing U.S. Navy Senior Chief, Thomas Riggs, who said he leads the military branch’s DEI initiatives while admitting that it is an irrelevant program for the government when the country faces imminent war.

Riggs revealed that several of his naval colleagues share their negative opinions about DEI in the military, but that the top NAVY brass is behind the push for these sorts of projects.

“Diversity, equity, inclusion? Yeah, of course, they [military colleagues] think it’s a waste of time. Except my boss, I mean, Lisa, the admiral, she doesn’t think it is. She likes it. But secretly, everybody else is like eh,” Riggs said.

“You know what’s going to happen when the first missile hits the first side of the first DEG [Guided Missile Escort Ship]? What’s it going to matter? It won’t. Diversity, equity, inclusion. It’ll just be out the window,” he said.

The senior naval officer made it clear that although the world is focused on the Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas war, the most dangerous threat that America faces today is China.

“Soon as China invades — when China invades Taiwan. None of this is going to matter. That’s what they’re saying to me about my program,” he said.

Riggs told the Mug Club undercover journalist that he believes Donald Trump will win the presidential race come November.

“I think he will win [the election]. I think he will. I think he’s going to win hands down,” he said.

“Unless something happened…Like he goes to jail or something like that, or somebody kills him. I mean, I hate to say it, but, you know, that’s kind of the only way he’s — I mean, people don’t have a lot of faith in Biden,” he said.

“If we have a Republican in office, it will bolster our military…and I’m a Democrat. But I’m just — from a strictly military standpoint, Republicans are always better for military.”

The public official said that if Trump does in fact return to the White House, he will seek to push DEI onto the military in a more covert way.

My job will still exist [if Trump is elected]. It’s just like I was telling you — DEI wouldn’t, I wouldn’t be able to come out and say I’m a DEI practitioner. It’s like, now I can say — I would just say I’m an Equal Opportunity advisor. Big climate specialist. And I would,” Riggs said.

“Like I told you, I’d skirt around DEI…would have to be a play on words, I would never be able to come out and say it. People would be like, ‘whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.’ There’s no such thing as DEI anymore,” he said.

“When I came into the program, I wrote an essay on white privilege in the United States military. I was able to get the job that I’ve gotten by talking about white privilege.”
