When you announce to the world that you are a “sanctuary” for those who break federal immigration laws, so much so that you even give them free shelter and food, you will obviously attract a “summer surge” of “newcomers.”

The migrants who currently live in New York City may have come from third-world countries but they have picked up on first-world entitlement rather quickly. However, they are not going to be too happy to find out that illegal immigrants who will be arriving in the summer will be given priority for housing than those who have overstayed their welcome.

According to Fox News:

New York City has reportedly been booting migrants living on long-term stints at its facilities to make room for a “summer surge” amid skyrocketing illegal immigration.

The Department of Homeless Services has been handing out instructions to family shelters, which they cannot refuse, and giving migrants short notice to pack all their belongings, according to a Friday report from Documented New York.

The city sent one of the largest providers of family shelter housing in New York City – Win – lists of migrants it wanted evicted in the short time frame, many whom had lived in the facility for over a year. Win told Fox News Digital that it cannot refuse the city’s orders and that it was city policy – other shelters were given similar orders.

How can officials know people are coming if this is unprecedented and spontaneous? Are they getting a warning? Because if they are they should be doing everything in their power to stop it, not condone it.

If I didn’t know any better I would say that this means the alien invasion was planned. But I do know better so I am not saying that. But at the very least, officials can foresee the negative impacts of their asinine policies, which means they are putting Americans last at the expense of making sure no human is illegal.

A migrant from Columbia named Deicy Lara said she was in a shelter for two years before being abruptly given a 24-hour notice to leave the premises.

What on earth was this lady doing for two years in a shelter? How much time do these people need to find a place? If they were truly seeking asylum, you would think their desperation would compel them to do anything and everything to get a place to stay. But the fact that city officials could care less has only fueled the entitlement of these people. However, even NYC does not have endless resources, thus, the old comers will now have to make room for the newcomers.

Question: Do Americans also have a right to shelter? Or does one have to break federal immigration laws to be afforded that “right?”

The city’s resources are already stretched further than they can go. What is going to happen to Americans who need help the most?

You would think that officials would do everything possible to STOP a so-called “summer surge.” But that’s probably xenophobia or something and they would much rather be beholden to an ideology than do the least bit of anything to help New Yorkers.
