Left-wing propaganda network MSNBC is a festering boil that badly needs to be lanced, could Elon Musk be the one who does all of America a favor by doing it?

It’s been a very rough post-election period for the conspiracy-mongering purveyors of racism and hate at 30 Rock with ratings in freefall after the American people overwhelmingly sent Donald J. Trump back to the White House.

Not only is viewership in a death spiral but NBCUniversal parent company Comcast just announced that it would be spinning off MSNBC along with other channels leading to “panic” among the staff as speculation swirls that it could be sold off.

The pre-holiday angst among MSNBC employees isn’t going to be calmed by billionaire X owner Elon Musk who teased the idea that he could scoop up the troubled network if the price is right.

In a Friday post to X, Donald Trump Jr. was greatly enjoying the turmoil at MSNBC, setting up Musk perfectly.

“Hey Elon Musk… I have the funniest idea ever!” Don Jr. wrote, sharing a post that erroneously claimed that the network was for sale, to which the world’s wealthiest man responded, “How much does it cost?”

“The most entertaining outcome, especially if ironic, is most likely,” the Tesla/SpaceX CEO wrote in a follow-up.

Back in 2017, Musk had the same response when it was suggested that he purchase Twitter.

Five years later it was his.

Musk already cleaned up Twitter, so could the airwaves be next? X users are down with the idea.

Despite the buzz, no official word has come down that Comcast is putting MSNBC on the chopping block but it’s possible that it could soon lose its branding now that the network is being spun off into the new company along with CNBC and others.

“Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ: CMCSA) today announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company comprised of a strong portfolio of NBCUniversal’s cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY, and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets including Fandango and Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, and Sports Engine, through a tax-free spin-off. The well-capitalized independent company (“SpinCo”) will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports, and entertainment content,” Comcast said in a press release.

Bravo, NBC News, NBC Sports, Peacock, and Telemundo will remain under the NBCUniversal umbrella.
