Independent reporter Ken Klippenstein had his account suspended on the social media platform, X, when he published a dossier of the Trump campaign vetting Ohio GOP Sen. J.D. Vance to be his running mate.

The dossier was 271 pages and listed potential vulnerabilities of Vance, including his past criticisms of former President Donald Trump.

Klippenstein published the dossier on his website and shortly after, his account was suspended, according to Mediaite

“The dossier has been offered to me and I’ve decided to publish it because it’s of keen public interest in an election season,” he wrote on his website, according to the outlet. “It’s a 271-page research paper the Trump campaign prepared to vet now vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance. As far as I can tell, it hasn’t been altered, but even if it was, its contents are publicly verifiable. I’ll let it speak for itself.”

Users on X took notice that after it was published, Klippenstein’s account was suspended.

“Well, shortly after Ken Klippenstein shared the hacked JD Vance dossier that other media outlets refused to publish, his X account is suddenly suspended,” another independent reporter wrote on X.
