Former Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was pressed about his “relationship” with New York Magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi during an appearance on Fox News.

Kennedy, who enraged Democrats when he suspended his campaign and endorsed Donald J. Trump, has been accused of having an “affair” with the “obsessive” leftist reporter who is alleged to have sent him racy pictures while “sexting” that has become the latest in an ongoing line of sensational headline-generating scandals involving the scion of the dynastic political family.

On Wednesday’s edition of “The Story,” RFK Jr. was trying to discuss politics and the real issues when anchor Martha MacCallum invited him to defend the alleged “inappropriate relationship” with Nuzzi who is nearly 40 years younger than him.

“So let’s talk a little bit about that, I want to give you an opportunity to address some headlines because you seem to be surrounded by you know, scandals and old stories that keep coming up about animals and all of this,” the host said, referring to recent tales about his dumping a dead black bear in Central Park and sawing the head off of a whale carcass.

“The latest one is an inappropriate relationship with a New York magazine political reporter who was covering your campaign. It’s gotten a lot of attention, so what do you say to your supporters who question your behavior and want to know what’s going on?” MacCallum asked.

“I never comment on those kind of stories,” Kennedy responded, insisting that the issues are what matter. “If you want to talk about health or how to end the war in Ukraine or how to end inflation and  or how to end the censorship and surveillance regime, I’m happy to talk about those…”

MacCallum interrupted, “But as a person do you have any regrets, about any of this?”

“Like I said, I don’t make comments on it,” Kennedy replied.

“Alright, I wanted to give you an opportunity to answer it, because it’s been out there, but we thank you very much for being here,” MacCallum said, seemingly disappointed that he wouldn’t take the bait.

The alleged “inappropriate relationship” has been irresistible to the media which instead of covering Kennedy’s proposals to address the nation’s health crisis and his potential role in a Trump administration to assist in crafting national policy to make America healthy again, are infatuated with the salacious story about one of their own and the older married man.

“She went after him aggressively,” a source told the New York Post of Nuzzi’s efforts to hook up with Kennedy. “She targeted him pretty hard. Bobby was blocking her continually. It was a little scary. She was obsessed with him. I think she still is.”

In a post to her Substack page, Nuzzi galpal Jessica Reed Kraus said that Kennedy’s friends believe that he was set up by the reporter who two weeks after her article on him was published “made a flirtatious remark during a phone conversation” after which RFK Jr. blocked her.

“A few weeks later, Nuzzi emailed him, asking to be unblocked, claiming she had urgent information about a hit piece being prepared against him. He unblocked her for that conversation, but later that night, she sent him a provocative picture, prompting him to block her again,” Kraus wrote.

“For most of the next 8 months, Kennedy kept her blocked, except for a few occasions when Nuzzi contacted him from different emails and phone numbers, insisting he unblock her for urgent discussions about an imminent hit piece. Once unblocked, she bombarded him with increasingly pornographic photos and videos that he found difficult to resist. After brief exchanges, he would block her again,” according to Kraus.

The Nuzzi story exploded into public view after Kennedy endorsed Trump and began campaigning for him. RFK Jr. is reportedly mulling taking legal action against the randy reporter.
