When we call Justin Trudeau a ‘Globalist poster-boy,’ it’s because he is intent on implementing the agenda of the Planet’s Overlords in its entirety.
Not only when it comes to unchecked mass migration and ‘Global warming’ but also in the darkest aspects, like a mad push for Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide.
The result is showing itself: ‘Medically-assisted dying’ accounted for 4.7% of deaths in Canada in 2023.
BBC reported:
“The country’s fifth annual report since euthanasia was legalized in 2016 showed around 15,300 people underwent assisted dying last year after being successful in their applications.
The median age of this group was more than 77. The vast majority – around 96% – had a death deemed ‘reasonably foreseeable’, due to severe medical conditions such as cancer.”
But, in what the BBC report calls a ‘small minority of other cases’ – but are at least 612 instances – patients were not terminally ill, but ‘sought an assisted death due to a long and complicated illness that had significantly impacted their quality of life’.
And that’s not the whole point, as the controls are not working, as you can read in BOMBSHELL REPORT: Canadian Massacre Is Unfolding, as Hundreds of Illegal Euthanasia Deaths Go Unreported to Law Enforcement.
Some provisions are still theoretically in place, including having ‘two independent healthcare providers’ confirm that the patient is eligible to Medical Assistance in Death (MAiD) before their request is approved.
“More than 320,000 people died in Canada in 2023, and 15,300 of those deaths – about one in 20 – were medically assisted. The figures released on Wednesday by Health Canada show that the rate of assisted dying in Canada increased by nearly 16% in 2023.”
96% of the dead were white, an ethnic group that accounts for only about 70% of Canada’s population.
“Assisted dying continued to have the highest usage rate in Quebec, which accounted for nearly 37% of all euthanasia deaths, despite the province holding just 22% of Canada’s population.”
The BBC report is of course mentioning that UK MPs voted for a similar bill for ‘assisted death’ that will be analyzed by Parliament in the next months.
Canada is always cited by some as a cautionary tale.
“Like the UK, Canada initially only legalized assisted dying for those whose death was ‘reasonably foreseeable’.
However, Canada expanded access in 2021 to people who may not have a terminal diagnosis, but want to end their life because of a chronic, debilitating condition. It was set to broaden access once again to people with mental illnesses earlier this year.”
Worried critics say Canada has one of the fastest growing euthanasia programs in the world.
