Kamala Harris has been keeping a relatively low profile since being soundly defeated by President-elect Donald Trump, but her campaign of joy appears to have carried over to her celebrations of the Christmas holiday season.

A video making the rounds online captures Vice President Harris speaking at what appears to be a Christmas party at her residence at the Naval Observatory and, given all the rumors about her love of drink, it’s not a stretch to wonder if someone spiked the eggnog and Harris overly indulged.

Harris was serving up another one of her infamous word salads rambling on about not letting anything “defeat us,” and got so tickled by one of her own lines that she began bouncing up and down in her heels as she let loose with her trademark cackling.

“We feel because having feelings is a source and it’s an indication of one’s strength in humanity, but we do not let anything defeat us,” she said very demonstrably. “And so as we close out this year and prepare for the new year, I ask all the leaders here to applaud each other and yourselves because we love our country and we are not going to be dispirited. We’re gonna spend the holidays with friends and family and the people we love… and I give you permission that if you are going to someone’s house who doesn’t know how to cook, bring your own dish. You know what I’m saying.”

Sadly, there are clips from another holiday engagement floating around where Harris rambles on about rising up from defeat that prompt viewers to wonder if she is inebriated.

“Our work continues and so please everyone, look I know this election was not what we intended, certainly now what we wanted, I know there’s a lot of emotion that we are all feeling right now — I get it,” the failed Democratic replacement nominee said, before she starts cackling like a hyena.

“Please I have to just, I have to insist, that please do not let your spirit or your purpose be defeated,” she added.

One thing seems apparent, her experience running for the highest office in the land does not appear to have sharpened her oratory skills one iota, prompting a social media user to comment about how we dodged a bullet in November.
