Pizza Hut releases “Goblin Pizza” with fried frog for Chinese customers

Move over, pineapple pizza! You’ve just lost your crown as the most abominable pizza on the planet.

Introducing “The Goblin Pizza,” a crazy tie-in pizza from Pizza Hut China celebrating Tencent’s new mobile video game “Dungeon And Fighter.”

The Goblin Pizza features a giant, fried bullfrog set atop a bed of parsley. Above that, are two hard-boiled egg eyes with ketchup-striped veins and black olive pupils.

According to global food trend expert David Henkes, the term “frogs” is currently hopping on China’s social media:

‘In proof that other countries/cultures prefer different types of proteins, Pizza Hut is offering a pizza topped with a frog for a limited time offer in China – frog is trending,’ Henkes wrote.
