Adam Kinzinger’s attempted swipe at South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace’s (R) stance against gender ideology earned him a “savage” response considered “roast of the day.”
During a reprieve from his hyper-focus on Ukraine, the former Illinois congressman once again strived to remain relevant by siding against women on the fight to protect sex-specific spaces. The attempted “gotcha,” that reminded Mace was more open-minded than activists pretended, only served to setup a comeback challenging Kinzinger’s manhood — or suggested lack thereof.
“Hey @NancyMace,” the CNN commentator had posted Thursday sharing a screenshot of a post from early 2021 where the congresswoman had stated, “I strongly support LGBTQ rights. No one should be discriminated against. Religious liberty, gay rights, and transgender equality can all coexist. I’m also a constitutionalist. We have to ensure anti-discrimination laws don’t violate religious freedom.”
In response, Mace served a scorching claim about Kinzinger when she wrote, “Even though you don’t have balls anymore, you can still use the men’s room.”

The exchange came amid escalating targeting of the South Carolina lawmaker who’d taken a stance on Capitol Hill after Delaware had elected Sarah McBride, a man who purports to be a woman, as their representative in Congress.
Despite gender ideology proving a losing issue for the Democratic Party in 2024, the left had held firm and prompted House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) to issue an order that “All single-sex facilities in the Capitol and House Office Buildings — such as restrooms, changing rooms, and locker rooms — are reserved for individuals of that biological sex,” after Mace had introduced a resolution Monday seeking that outcome.
Johnson had reminded, “It is important to note that each Member office has its own private restroom, and unisex restrooms are available throughout the Capitol.”
Of course, the congresswoman faced further harassment, including being heckled by a man in a dress, prompting her to issue a statement that, “No matter where, no matter what, I’m going to stand my ground. No balls in our stalls.” Kinzinger continued to pester on the issue while maintaining restrictions on who could reply to his posts.
“Honest to [God], and I mean this, not just saying this for Twitter…You need help. You’re on the verge of something unhealthy,” he wrote.
While Mace had been limited to quote tweeting Kinzinger to rebut his effort at belittling her argument, the same wasn’t true for another social media user who had shared the same post prompting her to respond, “Voting for gay marriage and wanting p*ckers banned from female dressing rooms are two very different things. Pull your head out of your rear.”
In response to the cutting remark against the former congressman, conservative commentators and social media users alike joined in further ridicule of Kinzinger while leftist talking heads endeavored to support him.
