Hoo boy. This is bad.

It looks like John Kerry went to the Ketanji Brown Jackson school of “say the quiet part out loud” when it comes to the First Amendment of the Constitution.

Here’s an unelected and now retired “climate envoy” for the United States trashing the foundational freedoms of the US at a World Economic Forum impact meeting this past week.

This is all pretty rich, attacking the First Amendment, coming from a guy who rose to prominence by trashing his country as a fake war hero.

The stuff he says here ought to give you a chill up your spine.

Part of our problem, particularly in democracies, in terms of building consensus around any issue. It’s really hard to govern today …

People self select where they go for their news, for their information.

Let me translate here really quick.

It is harder for Democrats and Globalists like Kerry to shape consensus, and to determine what everyone thinks now that the three major news networks, all repeating the same propaganda, are swamped by other voices.

People can get news on the internet and on social media, therefore the first amendment has become a danger.

This is what Kerry and his ilk dislike. But he cleverly frames this as a fight against “disinformation.”

You know there’s a lot of discussion now about how you curb those entities in order to guarantee that you’re going to have some accountability on facts, etc.

Look, if people only go to one source, and the source they go to is sick, and, you know, has an agenda and they’re putting out disinformation, our First Amendment stands as a major block to be able to just, you know, hammer it out of existence.

The Democrats would gladly “hammer out of existence” anything that they think is “fake news” and “disinformation” if that pesky First Amendment and the Trump court wasn’t in the way.

But guys, he’s talking about “disinformation” not REAL news. Isn’t disinformation bad?

Just recall that the Hunter Biden laptop story was “disinformation” “planted by Russia” and the feds DID bypass the First Amendment to quash that story by colluding with social media.

And now realize that Kerry is saying that they want to have complete control over the entire flow of information to the American public at all times.

They’re not hiding the ball.

Elon knows this is a direct attack on X as the only major social media company they don’t have their claws in.

They’re conniving in public with their globalist friends about “saving Democracy” by disregarding our founding documents.

You can’t say you didn’t see it coming.
