Look, I’m not saying the feds don’t have a legitimate case involving criminal activities to bring against NYC Mayor Eric Adams.

I’m just saying there are a whole lot of high-profile Dems with similar skeletons in the closet but the guy who was super vocal about the migrant invasion is the one being raided by the Biden admin this morning!

On Wednesday evening, the news dropped that a federal grand jury had indicted Adams:

The historic indictment — the first for a sitting New York City mayor — is expected to be unsealed Thursday by US Attorney Damian Williams, according to the sources. The news was first reported by the New York Times.

Adams will surrender to authorities early next week, sources said.

These charges will be entirely false, based on lies, but they will not be surprising. I always knew that if I stood my ground with all of you that I would be a target. A target I became.

For months, leaks and rumors have been aimed at me in an attempt to undermine my credibility and paint me as guilty. Just this past week they searched the home of our new police commissioner, looking for documents from 200 years ago, just one week after he joined my administration.

Enough! I will fight these injustices with every ounce of my strength and my spirit.

I wouldn’t be prone to believe he’s a political target if the Biden admin hadn’t used Attorney General Merrick Garland and the FBI to go after every political enemy under the sun over the last 4 years, including Catholics, unmasked moms at school board meetings, and pro-life protesters.

And as for the jury indictment, well, you can get any jury to indict a ham sandwich if you’re a crafty prosecutor.

As for the official Democratic Party response to the excommunicated Mayor Adams, AOC was chosen for the part:

Let me remind you of the things Adams said very loudly and very publicly that directly opposed the Biden admin’s low-key plan to shuttle in tens of millions of “newcomers” into American cities:

This issue will destroy New York City. Destroy New York City. We’re getting ten thousand migrants a month. One time we were just getting Venezuela. Now we’re getting Ecuador. Now we’re getting Russian-speaking coming through Mexico. Now we’re getting Western Africa. Now we’re getting people from-all over the globe they’re making their minds up that they’re gonna come through the southern border and come into New York City. And everyone is saying it’s New York City’s problem. Every community in this city is going to be impacted.

More on the feds raiding Adams’ home early on Thursday:

Nearly a dozen suited-up federal agents arrived at Eric Adams’ mayoral home, Gracie Mansion, first thing Thursday to search his official residence — just hours after Hizzoner became the first Big Apple mayor to be indicted in a federal probe.

The men and women, who were all clad in business attire, filed into the mansion shortly before 6 a.m. hauling briefcases and large bags.

At least two SUVs spotted at the mansion had “Federal Law Enforcement” parking placards displayed on their dashboards.

They took Adams’s phone and confiscated some documents, but have not arrested Adams yet.

This indictment is drawing battle lines in America’s largest city. Here’s a councilwoman from Queens who is taking Adams’s side.

Adams may well be a crook. He’s a politician, after all.

But why him?

Why now?
