Even far-leftist MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle now reluctantly admits that Vice President Kamala Harris refuses to answer any questions.

Ruhle learned this firsthand while interviewing Harris on Wednesday. During the interview, the vice president repeatedly refused to offer substantive answers, opting for evasive rhetoric instead.

Take for instance what happened when Ruhle asked Harris how she intends to “get the money” to fund her lavish economic proposals if Republicans block her from hiking taxes on the American people.

“But we’re gonna have to raise corporate taxes,” she said. “We’re going to have to make sure that the biggest corporations and billionaires pay their fair share. That’s just it. It’s about paying their fair share.”

Notice how she didn’t answer the question. Ruhle certainly noticed. Appearing on another MSNBC program after the interview, she admitted that Harris “doesn’t answer the question.”

“She doesn’t answer the question. … [I asked her] if the GOP is controlling the Senate, if she can’t raise corporate taxes, where is she going to get the money from to expand the child tax credit and do whatever she wants to do, and she says, ‘we just have to do it,’” Ruhle told colleague Nicole Wallace, a former Republican.

“That’s great and that’s a campaign promise, but the issue is, if it means we’re gonna just borrow again, then what we’re doing is we’re just never addressing the deficit. And back in the days when you were a proud Republican, debts and deficits matter,” she added.

Harris also avoided the question when asked about tariffs. Ruhle noted that both current President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump support tariffs.

“Where do you come out on, is there a good tariff, a bad tariff?” she then asked.

But again Harris ignored the actual question.

“Well, part of it is, you don’t just throw around the idea of just tariffs across the board,” she said. “And that’s part of the problem with Donald Trump. I — frankly, I’m going to — and I say this in all sincerity. He’s just not very serious about how he thinks about some of these issues.”

“And one must be serious and have a plan, and a real plan, that’s not just about some talking point ending in an exclamation at a political rally, but actually putting the thought into, what will be the return on the investment, what will be the economic impact on everyday people?” she added.

At one point in the interview, Ruhle asked Harris about her proposed “price gouging” plans.

“As somebody who supports free markets, who’s a capitalist, how do you go after price gouging without implementing price controls?” she said. “Because, once we get in this zone, people start to get worried and they say, I don’t know what she stands for.”

And once again Harris avoided the actual question.

“So, just to be very frank, I am never going to apologize for going after companies and corporations that take advantage of the desperation of the American people,” she began.

“And, as attorney general, I saw this happen. In the midst of an emergency, whether it be an extreme weather event or even the pandemic, we saw it, where those few companies, not the majority, not most, but those few companies that would take advantage of the desperation of people and jack up prices,” she added.

“Yes, I’m going to go after them. Yes, I’m going to go after them. And that is part of a much more comprehensive plan on what we can do to bring down the cost of living, including housing, including the everyday needs of the American people,” she continued.

Given that Ruhle is ultimately nothing more than a far-left activist with a mic, she later had the audacity to defend Harris’ non-answers.

“One could watch and say she didn’t give a clear and direct answer, and that’s okay because we’re not talking about clear and direct issues,” she later told MSNBC colleague Chris Hayes.
