NBC News reported:
The next hearing will take place on Thursday instead. Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif., a member of the panel, told reporters Tuesday that the postponement was due to “technical issues” stemming from “overwhelming” demand on staff to produce videos.
“We’re trying to give them a little room,” Lofgren said.
It seems that the committee is very concerned with presenting the information in video content to push their messaging.
Republican Governor of West Virginia Jim Justice was asked if he had seen the hearings. Justice answered the question by calling the hearings “political theatre”, and that the media and Democrats are twisting what Trump did.
“All this is the same old stuff that has driven this country into a mess,” Justice said. “And that’s all there is to it.”
“Look at just what we’re doing today in this country. And who in their right mind, who in their right mind, could absolutely condone or think what we’re doing is the right stuff,” he said. “To me, political theater, a waste of time, absolutely throwing rocks at a president who did a heck of a job in my book.”
According to NPR, the committee is “methodically establishing the building blocks of their public prosecution that Trump is responsible for Jan. 6.”
The intent of the committee seems to be already established, which could raise questions of if they are investigating the entire picture in some people’s minds.
Republicans have been accused of being dismissive of the committee, and deflecting from the issue. U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) in January asked some valid questions of the FBI and any connection it may have to the events on January 6th.
Twitter user Jim Benson shared the video of Cruz’s questioning and the inability of the assistant FBI director to answer any of his questions.
She can’t answer that? Kind of hard to prosecute a case when you refuse to answer questions… pic.twitter.com/Rn1t14Cim3

The country seems to be divided on the matter, and many people are not concerned with it at all as their focus is on the budgets which are getting tighter and tighter with the ongoing high inflation and other issues with our economy, including the historic high gas prices.
To many Americans struggling with inflation, the cost of this “political theatre” can feel insulting to some.
