If we could have asked a follow-up question of press secretary Jen Psaki, it would have been, “What does your administration consider to be the mainstream values of the country?” According to Psaki, Republicans should be quaking in their boots as the midterms approach, as their platform is so out of whack with the mainstream. Republicans are “at war with Mickey Mouse,” for goodness sake, and they don’t believe in late-term or especially full-term abortion, no questions asked. The “mainstream” must be represented by people like Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Gov. Gavin Newsom. We notice she didn’t mention that Republicans are also at war with the administration over securing the border — another policy that’s out of whack with your average American.
PSAKI: Republicans are “at war with Mickey Mouse, against allowing women to make choices about their own healthcare, against lowering the cost of prescription drugs…that is out of wack with the mainstream of the country.” pic.twitter.com/nQAaVvDuF2

You already know it, but we’ll say it again. Florida’s legislature came up with a bill banning teachers in kindergarten through third grade from leading class discussions around sexual orientation and gender identity, which is not at all out of whack with the mainstream when you put it in those words. Disney chose to get involved in that “war” when it didn’t have to, apologizing for not speaking out against the Parental Rights in Education bill earlier than it did.

No, they’re at war with CRT, the attempt by public educators and unions to usurp parental authority, woke ideology that mocks traditional judeo-Christian values that are fundamental to Western civilization

… and winning, if we may point to the Virginia gubernatorial race. It turns out parents think they should have a say in what their children are taught in government schools.
That is NOT true. Disney went to war with PARENTS. This prompted a response from those who feel differently. If Roe is overturned, the decision goes to the States, it is not that abortion is outlawed. The left pushed this by arguing that abortion up to and thru delivery was ok.

uh? mickey mouse started the war, not conservatives, we’re not against women making their own choices at all. we want we want the right of everyone to make the choice by voting each state. SHE IS SUCH A DAMN LIAR.

1) No one is at war with Mickey Mouse. Unless rescinding self-governing privileges for the Walt Disney Company qualifies.
2) Abortion isn’t health care.
3) Trump already tried to lower the cost of insulin.

“make choices about their own healthcare” like a mandate for a vaccine?
— A sensible person (@Dr_Mantis619) May 4, 2022
But women can’t make choices about their healthcare when it comes to being forced to wear a mask and forced to get vaccinated in order to keep a job. truly pathetic.

Trump tried and tried and tried to lower prescription drug prices and was met with opposition at every turn, including from the press. Psaki is such a bad liar.

She forgot dirty air and water. I’m all for that.

To these people, the mainstream of the country is the West Coast, Northeast, and DC bubble. 🙄
— Maize & Blue (@DetSportsUofM) May 4, 2022
I’m not thinking that it’s us that’s out of wack…

Propaganda rhetoric is strong today. Is this their plan for the mid-terms? Because it’s going to get old, real fast.

No one’s listening.
You guys lied too many times, and delivered nothing but misery.

So if the Biden administration’s values are so in touch with the mainstream, why is President Biden’s approval number so low? He’s fighting some imaginary battle about banning LGBTQ kids from classrooms when he should be fighting inflation.
Move over, Putin! Biden throws ‘MAGA Republicans’ into mix of who’s to blame for economic woes https://t.co/ezHSGONILC
